JohnnyGill of the famed group New Edition is being sued by one of his former record producers. Ira DeWitt, wife of St. Louis Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt is suing the singer because she claims that Gill is so upset about one of his songs being leaked off his upcoming album that he went on a Twitter Rant and wrongfully blamed her as the person that leaked the song.
According to the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court on Thursday, DeWitt claims she had nothing to do with the leak and that Gill attacked her on Twitter because of it calling her “Deranged” and “F—–king nuts.” Below you can see just one of the tweets that Gill Tweeted about DeWitt. DeWitt says in the suit that Gill has damaged her reputation and she’s asking the judge to force Gill to stop trashing her name on Twitter.
